  1. To The 5 Boroughs [Explicit] (Deluxe Version) Beastie Boys. June 14, (Right Right Now Now, It Takes Time to Build, An Open Letter to NYC), the whole album plays out like a complete love letter to the city they grew up in and love so much. While it's not my favourite Beastie album, it's probably one of my most listened to on a regular /5(33).

  3. Mit To the 5 Boroughs legen die Beasties ein ehr ruhiges und wenig überraschendes Album hin, das unter anderem die Ereignisse vom 11/09 auf Beastie Boys Art verarbeitet. Insbesondere der Song An Open letter to NYC macht das natürlich deutlich/5(52).

  6. As the Beastie Boys were included in the game NBA Street V3, the track "An Open Letter to NYC" was included in its soundtrack. To the 5 Boroughs has two main themes — a tribute to their home town New York after the September 11 attacks (although, notably, the Twin Towers are on the cover drawing) and a criticism of George W. Bush's presidency.

  9. Another good one by th Beastie Boys To The 5 Boroughs CD music This album is great. The Beastie Boys are one of my favorite acts right now. The production on this album. Might not be as good. As on there past CDs. But I dig it because it makes it sound harder and raw. Wich is cool on songs like Hey F--k You. The beats are simple and catchy.
